Cellfina™ for Cellulite Reduction

Pasadena board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Max Lehfeldt, is proud to be amongst the first and select few physicians to be able to offer his patients the amazing new treatment for cellulite: Cellfina™!

Cellfina™ is the only FDA-approved, minimally-invasive treatment that can improve the appearance of cellulite for at least two years!

What is Cellulite?

At least 85% of women have cellulite. It is characterized by the skin dimples and “orange peel” look on most women’s thighs and buttocks. Cellulite is caused by fibrous bands that trap fat and make it pucker and dimple on the skin. Cellfina™ is able to release these bands. When this happens, the skin above bounces back and attains smoothness!

Cellfina™ is performed in our Pasadena office by Dr. Lehfeldt. The ONE-time treatment takes about 45-minutes and utilizes local anesthesia. No sedation or general anesthesia is needed for the very small, needle-sized device that will be inserted just beneath the skin. Patient satisfaction at two years is 96%*!

When Will I See Results?
Improvements can be seen in as little as three days. One study performed on the effects of Cellfina™ showed treatment results lasting at least two years and a patient satisfaction rate of 96%*!

Medications To Avoid Prior To Treatment
Please discuss your exact medication list with our team and your primary physician prior to stopping any medications. Blood thinners (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, alcohol, omegas, flaxseed oil, fish oil, vitamin D3, and vitamin E) should typically be avoided for three to five days prior to your treatment.

Possible Side Effects
Some of the most common side effects of Cellfina™ include swelling, soreness, tenderness, and bruising. There is typically limited downtime necessary and most patients return to their usual activities immediately. We recommend that exercise be avoided for the first 72 hours. Patients may wear a light compression garment (such as SPANX®) for a couple of weeks after the procedure for their comfort.
